This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of Spellbook's social media calendar from start to finish across all platforms where we are present, overseeing everything from concept creation to scheduling and publishing.
• Maintain a consistent flow of daily content while also implementing a long-term content strategy aligned with company milestones, product launches, and pipeline objectives.
• Timely monitor and engage with comments, mentions, and direct messages, ensuring responses are on-brand — social media should be an interactive dialogue, not merely a broadcasting tool.
• Cultivate relationships within the legal tech community, engaging customers and relevant creators/journalists to help broaden our reach.
• Establish and safeguard Spellbook's voice and visual identity across all social channels, ensuring consistency with the overall brand.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Product, and executive teams to transform company announcements, product launches, and thought leadership into shareable content, including ghostwriting and providing editorial support for executive posts.
• Develop a social strategy based on genuine drivers of reach and engagement — quickly identifying and capitalizing on trends, cultural moments, and platform features instead of relying on automated posting.
• Monitor performance against defined metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, share of voice) and leverage this data to continuously enhance the strategy.
• Additional responsibilities as necessary.
• You possess a proven history of enhancing a brand's organic social reach and engagement, with specific metrics and outcomes to demonstrate success, rather than just activity.
• You have experience managing social media for a B2B SaaS company and understand how to present technical, less-visual products in an engaging manner on social platforms.
• You can independently manage a social calendar — from developing quarterly strategies to crafting captions and publishing content.
• You approach tasks with a strategic mindset while executing with operational efficiency; you are equally adept at planning a quarter's worth of content and producing timely posts on the same day.
• You have a keen, demonstrable understanding of what content drives virality, beyond just visual appeal.
• You are a proficient writer capable of adjusting tone across various platforms while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• You are familiar with social management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics) and can interpret that data to gain insights into effective strategies.
• Access our company-sponsored group benefits for you and your family, including a $1,000 allocation for mental health support.
• Enjoy a disconnect during our holiday closure and take advantage of our generous time-off policies throughout the year.
• Benefit from monthly paid meals, an annual wellness allowance to promote your well-being, and parental leave top-ups as your family expands.
• Secure your share in our success; you’ll receive competitive stock option grants as an essential early employee.
