This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop content related to projects, events, and association topics for LinkedIn and various digital platforms.
• Organize the editorial calendar, oversee the content schedule, and manage the publishing process.
• Update and maintain the website while publishing relevant website content.
• Offer communications support for roundtable discussions, events, and webinars.
• Design basic graphics and materials for images, graphics, and presentations.
• Manage community interactions and communications with interested stakeholders.
• Track reach and engagement metrics.
• Professionally oversee communication channels on an ongoing basis.
• Supply pertinent content tailored for target audiences.
• Help enhance DEHIB's awareness and outreach, attract new volunteers, and elevate the visibility of projects, events, and partners.
• Collaborate with the Communications team, specialized departments, board members, and volunteers.
• A keen interest in social media, marketing, and communications.
• Some hands-on experience in content creation, social media, or marketing is preferred.
• Proficient use of LinkedIn is a plus but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft 365, and WordPress is advantageous but not essential.
• Awareness of target audiences, trends, and digital communication practices.
• Strong written communication skills in both German and English.
• A time commitment of roughly 4 to 6 hours each week.
• Ideally available promptly for current posts and community inquiries.
• Significant creative freedom in managing social media, website content, and community engagement.
• Direct influence on DEHIB's visibility, reach, and overall recognition.
• Close collaboration with the Communications team, specialized departments, board members, and volunteers.
