This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Interact with the Academy's community on social media by liking, commenting, and sharing content.
• Propose, create, and distribute social media posts across LinkedIn, Instagram (including Reels), X, and Bluesky.
• Design and modify social media graphics, photos, and video content as necessary.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on social media performance metrics.
• Investigate trends to guide social media strategies.
• Convert existing Academy news articles and reports into engaging, easily digestible content.
• Aid in researching and assembling influencer databases for potential collaborations.
• Craft innovative campaigns to showcase Academy programs and achievements.
• Monitor alumni and their contributions (careers, achievements, media coverage).
• Assist with the distribution of program recruitment emails, as required.
• Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student.
• Excellent organizational, reliability, and time management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, as this role is primarily remote.
• Some background in social media management, video editing, and graphic design.
• Creativity and strategic insight for developing social media campaigns.
• A strong interest in policy, social impact, and nonprofit initiatives.
• Desire to gain insight into nonprofit operations in addition to social media management.
