This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop channel-specific playbooks, policies, and content strategies that align our social media efforts with CodeAI's marketing objectives and mission.
• Manage "always on" cross-channel content calendars, integrating both original and curated content tailored to each platform and its audience.
• Stay up-to-date and effective by monitoring emerging trends, platform updates, and changes in audience behavior, incorporating relevant insights into our ongoing strategy.
• Lead and work collaboratively with an agency to enhance strategic thinking and ensure robust execution.
• Cultivate CodeAI's online community through genuine conversations, timely responses, and proactive engagement—initiating discussions, addressing comments, escalating issues, and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
• Elevate executive presence and thought leadership at conferences, keynotes, and high-profile events through strategic social media coverage.
• Design and implement promotional strategies for livestreams, webinars, workshops, and other live events—from pre-event excitement to live coverage and post-event summaries.
• Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with influencers, partners, organizations, and community groups to broaden our reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other in-house creatives to produce compelling multimedia content.
• Work alongside advertising and PR teams to provide insights on social advertising, influencer relations, and other opportunities to enhance our outreach.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to convert platform analytics into actionable insights.
• Over 8 years of experience leading substantial online communities, with a portfolio showcasing channels you've developed and the engagement metrics to support it.
• A proven ability to create and manage cross-channel content calendars that effectively balance original and curated content for diverse audiences.
• Proficient in social media platforms and the management and analytics tools that support them.
• A genuine and up-to-date interest in AI and computer science, with the ability to create credible content for both educators and technical audiences without overstating the technology's capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities—you can effectively convey a message to both executive audiences and comment threads.
• A history of successful collaboration across internal teams and with external partners and agencies.
• [Bonus] Experience in managing influencer relationships, social advertising, or live events.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Must be able to work within the continental United States.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Willingness to travel at least twice a year for team events.
