SOC Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial monitoring of systems to identify alerts and suspicious activities.

• Evaluate security alerts based on established procedures, searching for patterns and correlations.

• Generate basic reports detailing monitoring activities and incidents.

• Compile audit reports and perform reviews of security consoles and technical vulnerabilities.

• Offer technical assistance to users, clients, and other teams concerning SOC responsibilities.

• Collaborate with support teams when necessary.

• Address low- and medium-complexity incidents.

• Develop and maintain documentation for internal SOC processes and security consoles.

• Assist in enhancing and updating the security tools within the environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Understanding of incident identification, triage, and response processes.

• Experience in preparing security documentation, reports, and health checks.

• Familiarity with EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and Vulnerability Management tools.

• Knowledge of firewalls and network perimeter protection mechanisms (NGFW, WAF, VPN, XDR, etc.).

• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and container operating systems.

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Technology or Information Security.

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule from 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (overnight).
