This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Join the project team as a Snowflake Engineer, contributing to agile software delivery.
• Play a pivotal role in providing data-driven solutions for our clients.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to better understand their requirements.
• Serve as a Snowflake Subject Matter Expert (SME) to address complex business challenges.
• Design, develop, and manage highly reliable large-scale data lake systems.
• Embrace innovations in Snowflake alongside open-source standards and tools.
• Ensure the quality of all deliverables by establishing rigorous development standards.
• Take part in integrated validation and analysis sessions of components and subsystems on cloud servers.
• Conduct market research and provide specific recommendations, including a SWOT analysis.
• Offer support for deployment information technology planning and implementation.
• Ensure the successful analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of agile software development solutions across the enterprise.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to create detailed plans and assist with business process transformations.
• Demonstrated experience in assessing, designing, deploying, and/or maintaining applications within the Snowflake Ecosystem.
• Proficient in Snowflake concepts such as resource monitors, integration with MATLAB, RBAC controls, virtual warehouses, query performance tuning, Zero Copy Clone, and Time Travel.
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowpipe, and other open-source tools like Azure Data Factory and Apache NiFi, as well as implementing stored procedures.
• Proven history of successfully creating data-driven solutions utilizing integration, big-data processing, and database/storage technologies.
• Experience in establishing data quality processes, conducting data analysis, and participating in technology implementation planning.
• Skilled in architecting data pipelines and solutions for both streaming and batch integrations using Azure Data Factory.
• Experience in migrating data to the Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Proficient in developing DBT models to convert data into meaningful, actionable insights.
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and the development of IT solutions that meet government business requirements.
• Significant experience in translating and mapping business requirements into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
• Experience in developing solutions across at least four of the following technology areas: Government Cloud IaaS and PaaS (FEDRAMP Authorized solutions), Microservices and Containers, DevSecOps, Data Analytics, ML/AI (Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence).
