Snowflake Data Governance Steward, Engineer 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Utilize a versatile skill set within our rapidly expanding Snowflake Environment.

• Create innovative software and Data Engineering applications in the Snowflake Environment.

• Develop sophisticated Snowflake SQL and ETL code.

• Enforce Snowflake standards and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and business partners.

• Deliver regular presentations on Data Governance and Snowflake best practices.

• Write and review Data Governance as well as Snowflake standards and best practices.

• Support Trust and Standards Management in the creation of standards, guidelines, and best practices.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and capability in applying project management skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or a related discipline is required.

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Analysis, and/or Data Engineering.

• Familiarity with Snowflake Architecture, Best Practices, and Implementation is necessary.

• Proficient knowledge of Snowflake SQL Development is essential.

• Experience in Data Governance implementation and design is a significant advantage.

• Experience with RBAC/ABAC design and implementation is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Visualization BI tools, such as Looker and Tableau, is a plus.

• Experience with Fivetran or other ETL tools is advantageous.

• Experience in SalesForce.com Service Cloud Development is beneficial.

• Background in Advertising Technology is a significant plus.

• Familiarity with FreeWheel Data and Products (MRM, Beeswax, Strata) is advantageous.

• Capability to drive software development efforts to align with project schedules and timelines.

• Ability to maintain high code quality supported by unit tests.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Must be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.

• Experience with agile development methodologies is preferred.
