SNOC Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and address security threats across network, systems, and cloud environments.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical challenges, conducting root cause analysis to avert future issues.

• Serve as a point of escalation for unresolved alerts and issues.

• Guide and mentor SNOC Engineer I team members while aiding in their technical growth.

• Develop and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base documentation.

• Collaborate on initiatives to integrate new technologies and enhance system reliability.

• Assist with compliance efforts related to CMMC, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Desired certifications include:

• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

• ITIL Foundations

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in SOC, NOC, IT support, or infrastructure operations.

• Capability to merge cybersecurity knowledge with outstanding customer-focused communication and engagement.

• Proficient troubleshooting and incident response capabilities across security, network, systems, and cloud areas.

• Familiarity with SIEM platforms, monitoring tools, and alert management systems.

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

• Competence to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
