This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Evaluate and make decisions on small business loan applications for significant and intricate loans.
β’ Support colleagues throughout the loan decision-making process by providing expertise in financial analysis and loan structuring.
β’ Accountable for analyzing financial statements based on data included in the loan package.
β’ Deliver loan decisions and/or credit recommendations after assessing all underwriting criteria.
β’ Conduct global cash flow and balance sheet analyses for small-business healthcare loans up to $2 million.
β’ Prepare a comprehensive written assessment of a borrower's financial health and future prospects, highlighting risks and their mitigation strategies.
β’ Work alongside the sales team to create loan structures that fulfill customer requirements while adhering to the organization's risk appetite.
β’ Mentor and assist fellow team members in monitoring the loan portfolio.
β’ Identify opportunities for process enhancements and suggest solutions for software development.
β’ Clearly communicate loan decisions to loan originators.
β’ A college degree in accounting, finance, or economics is preferred.
β’ Over two years of experience in underwriting, portfolio monitoring, or a related field of business loan analysis.
β’ Fundamental understanding of commercial lending, credit standards, policies, procedures, and products.
β’ Proficiency in essential software applications such as Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel.
β’ Familiarity with the Bank's internal applications is advantageous.
β’ Must demonstrate attention to detail and possess exceptional verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
