
Sleep Medicine Physician β Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct telemedicine consultations (asynchronous, video, phone) for both initial and follow-up care.
β’ Evaluate sleep questionnaires to confirm at-home sleep study requests.
β’ Analyze at-home sleep study findings and diagnose sleep-related disorders.
β’ Oversee the creation and quality of treatment plans within the sleep medicine program, including prescriptions and letters of medical necessity (CPAP, oral appliances, surgical referrals), ensuring precision, suitability, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
β’ Act as a clinical expert for complex cases and assist in provider decision-making.
β’ Promote uniformity in care delivery among providers through protocol creation, calibration, and feedback mechanisms.
β’ Spearhead clinical quality initiatives, encompassing chart reviews, performance evaluations, and focused improvement actions.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on clinical strategy and program effectiveness.
β’ Define and implement clinical competencies, training expectations, and success metrics for sleep medicine providers.
β’ Develop and enhance the framework for expanding the provider network, including criteria for provider selection and evaluation processes to ensure compliance with clinical standards and program requirements.
β’ Board certification in Sleep Medicine (MD or DO).
β’ Over 3 years of experience in a sleep-focused clinical setting, collaborating with other sleep specialists.
β’ Possession of active and unrestricted medical licenses in more than 20 states.
β’ At least 1 year of experience in telemedicine.
β’ Strong clinical judgment and extensive knowledge in sleep diagnostics and treatment pathways.
β’ Preferably has experience in contributing to or leading clinical quality initiatives, provider training, or competency development.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ A collaborative, solutions-driven mindset with the capacity to guide and influence clinical practices.
