This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Implement a territory strategy aimed at acquiring new logos and enhancing account growth within specified SLED/Public Sector accounts.
• Create, manage, and advance a qualified sales pipeline derived from both direct and channel-partner opportunities.
• Identify key stakeholders, foster relationships, and engage with senior decision-makers in state, local, and educational organizations.
• Guide customer interactions through the stages of discovery, evaluation, proposal creation, and solution alignment.
• Craft and present value-driven proposals that address customer requirements in security, resilience, compliance, and operational aspects.
• Navigate the public-sector procurement processes, including responding to RFPs/RFIs, contract vehicles, and purchasing frameworks.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances, such as NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS.
• Ensure precise tracking and forecasting of opportunities while contributing to consistent quarterly performance metrics.
• Provide customer insights and competitive feedback to both sales and product teams.
• Proven experience in selling to and collaborating with Information Security/Cybersecurity teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in selling to SLED/Public Sector accounts.
• Knowledge of governmental procurement procedures, contract vehicles, and funding timelines.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• A customer-centric approach to cybersecurity and data protection, particularly in relation to ransomware and recovery.
• Established track record in enterprise technology sales, preferably in infrastructure, SaaS, or related markets.
• Evidence of success in acquiring net-new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Basic understanding of data security and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with Cohesity DataProtect, DataHawk, and SmartFiles is advantageous.
• Experience with NetBackup, Backup Exec, or InfoScale is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Comfortable collaborating with channel partners, public-sector resellers, and system integrators.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and sales effectiveness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in professional English.
