SkillBridge Intern – Mission Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the transformation and implementation of cybersecurity applications within a Kubernetes environment.

• Serve as a vital coordinator between the Application Development and Platform teams.

• Ensure adherence to timelines and proactively address any obstacles.

• Communicate and maintain adherence to best practices.

• Act as a bridge to convey technical advancements into understandable updates.

• Encourage collaboration among teams to facilitate seamless delivery and operational success.

• Balance the priorities of users, customers, stakeholders, and the team to deliver mission value effectively and sustainably.

• Cultivate an environment that promotes Unicorn growth, mentorship, and coaching within the team.

• Nurture an atmosphere where the values and principles of Defense Unicorns can flourish.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible for the DoD (Department of Defense) Skillbridge program.

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

• Proven ability to contribute to the product vision while strategically aligning technical solutions with long-term goals.

• Established track record of evaluating and selecting the best approaches to resolve complex business challenges.

• Experienced in assessing and making informed decisions on new products, recognizing their potential effects on mission objectives.

• Skilled in identifying and articulating deficiencies in existing processes, strategically shaping the product backlog.

• Expertise in resolving highly technical issues that span various knowledge domains.

• A critical thinker who can evaluate different methods for addressing business challenges with an emphasis on product excellence.
