This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish clarity regarding organizational roles, responsibilities, decision rights, process ownership, system ownership, data ownership, and cross-functional transitions.
• Oversee strategic business projects from initial discovery to implementation, ensuring clear scope, ownership, milestones, risks, dependencies, adoption plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Map current and future business processes comprehensively, including quote-to-cash, hello-to-cash, service delivery, procurement, fulfillment, and financial workflows.
• Document process transitions, dependencies, systems, data, controls, bottlenecks, rework loops, failure points, and impacts on customers or employees.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process data to identify root causes and minimize handoffs, duplication, cycle time, waste, rework, and complexity.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops, process reviews, root-cause analysis sessions, Kaizen events, and improvement planning activities.
• Develop business cases, recommendations, implementation strategies, dashboards, and control plans.
• Document enterprise application portfolios, integrations, interfaces, data flows, dependencies, ownership, lifecycle status, and criticality.
• Maintain standards and inventories for application, integration, automation, and process documentation.
• Identify overlaps in applications, aging systems, workarounds, control gaps, and opportunities for portfolio rationalization.
• Create application, integration, and automation roadmaps.
• Establish and lead a cross-functional Systems Governance Board.
• Implement intake, scoring, review, prioritization, approval, and documentation procedures for technology and data modifications.
• Assess downstream impacts of changes and ensure that approved modifications are reflected in documentation and controls.
• Monitor governance decisions, risks, owners, target dates, benefits, and lessons learned.
• Assist with M&A technology and operational due diligence as well as post-acquisition integration planning.
• Collaborate with Finance and leaders to define KPI frameworks, scorecards, performance indicators, and financial benefit tracking aligned with EBITDA drivers.
• Analyze performance trends, pinpoint root causes, recommend corrective actions, and report the realized impact.
• Develop and execute an organization-wide continuous improvement strategy and project portfolio.
• Design and implement a Six Sigma Yellow Belt curriculum through the company Learning Management System (LMS).
• Create facilitator guides, coaching materials, job aids, templates, and communication resources.
• Mentor Yellow Belts, Green Belts, project sponsors, and process owners.
• Measure program participation, completion, adoption, project outcomes, and validated business impact.
• Identify and escalate security risks while contributing to remediation efforts.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with verification available through the online certification database provided by IASCC or ASQ.
• At least 7 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, business transformation, or related fields.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience functioning as a Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt in a relevant industry.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional Lean Six Sigma improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation, adoption, and control.
• Strong background in mapping complex end-to-end processes, system integrations, data flows, reporting dependencies, controls, and ownership across business and technology teams.
• Experience in establishing or managing cross-functional governance, change review, portfolio prioritization, or architecture decision forums.
• Ability to evaluate downstream system, data, reporting, integration, automation, control, and user impacts prior to implementing changes.
• Experience in developing KPI definitions, measurement frameworks, scorecards, and financial benefit tracking in collaboration with Finance and business leaders.
• Capability to simplify complex concepts and convey them clearly to technical, operational, executive, and non-technical audiences.
• Strong skills in executive presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership, including addressing resistance and gaining buy-in.
• Excellent analytical judgment with the ability to balance business value, customer experience, risk, control, feasibility, and capacity.
• Experience creating RACI models, SIPOCs, value stream maps, process taxonomies, control plans, capability maps, and current-state or future-state architecture diagrams.
• Experience supporting M&A technology due diligence, operational assessments, application rationalization, or post-acquisition integration planning.
• Must be located in the United States.
• Experience managing or rationalizing an enterprise application portfolio as well as maintaining application, integration, data-flow, or automation inventories.
• Experience designing adult learning, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement curricula for an LMS, including assessments and certification pathways.
• Experience working with value-added resellers, VARs, IT solutions providers, distributors, managed services, or similar channel-based businesses.
• Familiarity with hello-to-cash, order-to-cash, sales operations, procurement, fulfillment, service delivery, finance, or customer lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP, PSA, CPQ, business intelligence, integration platforms, workflow tools, RPA, bots, APIs, AI-enabled automation, and data governance.
