This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Deliver investigative and anti-fraud advisory services across both specialty and standard commercial lines insurance products.
• Perform thorough investigations of suspicious insurance claims and policies in accordance with legal and industry standards.
• Review and extract source data from claim and policy documentation.
• Collaborate with file handlers to develop and implement investigation strategies.
• Case manage claims and policy field investigations which involve interviews, recorded statements, and on-site investigations.
• Oversee vended services such as surveillance, activity checks, and medical canvassing.
• Execute desk-based investigations that range from locating individuals to conducting in-depth background checks.
• Safeguard both physical and digital evidence.
• Maintain timely communication with file handlers regarding ongoing investigative activities and case outcomes.
• Draft professional investigative reports that encompass detailed findings, supporting documents, and recommendations.
• Cultivate and sustain a network of anti-fraud enforcement and regulatory agency personnel, industry peers, and law enforcement officials.
• Engage in regional anti-fraud industry training and task force meetings.
• Ensure thorough knowledge and adherence to all anti-fraud regulatory obligations within designated territories.
• Refer and compile cases that necessitate mandatory reporting to state anti-fraud agencies.
• Participate in anti-fraud training and promotional efforts for company personnel and clients.
• Willingness to travel regionally and the ability to work independently are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience as an SIU investigator within an insurance carrier and/or government anti-fraud agency is required.
• Previous experience in insurance claims and/or law enforcement is preferred.
• Proficient in social media, with skills in searching and preserving digital evidence.
• Possess advanced analytical abilities and awareness of artificial intelligence.
• Outstanding organizational and report writing skills are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to foster strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Credit security clearance is required, verified through a background credit check.
