Site Visit Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Plan and execute both routine and investigative onsite and desk audits of transplant hospitals, Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), and other OPTN member institutions.

• Assess compliance with OPTN bylaws, policies, and regulations.

• Gather and assemble evidence, including medical records, clinical workflows, interviews, and observations, to support case evaluations and final judgments.

• Compose and finalize detailed site visit reports that summarize findings, actions taken, and subsequent steps.

• Work collaboratively with HRSA, OPTN Committees, site visit teams, and OPTN member organizations to ensure thorough and equitable reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Social Worker (MSW) is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years in compliance, project management, quality improvement, auditing, or investigations within healthcare or regulatory settings.

• Experience in clinical quality, patient safety, or in a transplant-related field is essential.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations is required.

• Familiarity with transplant regulations and policies is necessary.

• Clinical experience, especially in patient safety, compliance, or transplant-related environments, is vital.
