Site Reliability Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the SRE team both from a technical and managerial perspective, nurturing engineers' professional growth and technical abilities.

• Develop and refine the strategy for reliability, observability, and operational excellence concerning our products.

• Serve as the main technical point of contact during critical incidents, managing response efforts and conducting root cause analyses.

• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, Security, and Product teams to drive platform advancements.

• Facilitate operational rituals, conduct incident reviews, manage capacity planning, and oversee risk management.

• Encourage a culture centered around automation and continuous improvement.

• Ensure the implementation of best practices in SRE, DevOps, and Platform Engineering.

• Assist in prioritizing technical debt and reliability projects in collaboration with business units.

• Demonstrated experience in leading technical SRE, DevOps, or Platform teams.

• Background in people management.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Exceptional communication skills, both executive and technical.

• Experience in managing critical incidents and crises effectively.

• Strong analytical capabilities and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
