Site Reliability Engineer – Core Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold our foundational Linux-based platform ecosystem.

• Develop and oversee our PKI, secrets management, and security frameworks.

• Contribute to the development of internal platform tools, automation, and orchestration.

• Enhance the developer experience (DX) by implementing self-service systems and pipelines.

• Take a significant role in the architecture and design of Exoscale’s platform systems.

• Refine processes to guarantee scalability, security, and high availability.

• Engage in code and change reviews to uphold high development standards.

• Participate in the on-call rotation following the completion of a training period.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.

• Proficient with Linux, including networking and security filtering.

• Well-versed in platform security components and PKI systems (experience with HashiCorp Vault is advantageous).

• Skilled in Golang (essential for this role).

• Familiar with service discovery and DNS systems at scale.

• Experienced in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus).

• Comfortable with KVM virtualization.

• Proficient in configuration management and large-scale infrastructure.

• Driven by a passion for automation.

• Team players who excel in a distributed team setting.

• Strong communicators in English, both written and verbal.
