Site Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Operate, manage, scale, maintain, and enhance highly available Kubernetes clusters.

• Ensure the seamless functioning of Go-based Kubernetes operators and other services.

• Conduct performance optimization and track bugs.

• Design and oversee infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Automate configuration management and deployments utilizing Ansible.

• Create and sustain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

• Guarantee maximum uptime, performance, and stability of the gameserver infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience in operating, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in a production setting.

• Proficiency in Terraform with a background in building and managing complex infrastructures.

• Strong expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management.

• Familiarity with SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.

• Experience in development with Go.

• Ideally, prior experience with Kubernetes operators.

• A gamer mindset with an understanding of gamers’ platform expectations.
