Site Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a holistic infrastructure strategy that proactively meets changing business needs and enhances operational excellence.

• Take ownership of the reliable delivery of complex technical solutions through extensive automation utilizing Kubernetes and advanced CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure exceptional portal availability and system health by applying sophisticated observability and distributed tracing techniques.

• Lead responses to high-severity incidents and foster systemic enhancements through insightful, non-punitive postmortem evaluations.

• Design infrastructure systems that are failure-resilient and self-healing to guarantee continuous operational stability and prevent data loss.

• Act as the internal expert to guide software architecture decisions for optimal scalability and performance.

• Conduct regular knowledge-sharing and training sessions to uplift technical standards and improve process predictability throughout the technology department.

• Oversee security initiatives and develop secure networking strategies to uphold a robust protection framework for all client data and assets.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in building and managing resilient, modern infrastructure in a dynamic environment.

• Expert-level skills in managing and troubleshooting Linux-based servers across various distributions.

• Advanced proficiency in creating modular, reusable infrastructure templates using tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Proven track record in managing containerized workloads at scale utilizing Kubernetes and Helm.

• Extensive experience in configuring and optimizing high-performance database environments, particularly MySQL.

• Demonstrated capability to construct robust, secure CI/CD deployment pipelines that feature automated rollback and quality gates.

• Strong skills in technical documentation, including the creation of architectural diagrams, detailed specifications, and operational playbooks.

• Capacity to independently lead cross-functional projects while mentoring junior engineers and spearheading team-wide initiatives.
