Site Payments Associate II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Gather data from various sources to facilitate payments to sites in accordance with procedural guidelines and contractual agreements.

• Ensure compliance with country-specific regulations that influence payment capabilities. Oversee payment responsibilities and workflows to align with contracted timelines and project objectives.

• Develop and maintain relationships with study sites and occasionally interface with clients regarding payment-related matters.

• Address escalations related to studies and resolve issues concerning payments.

• Appropriately escalate project risks as needed.

• Educate study teams on site payment procedures, including clarifying expectations regarding site payment requirements and deliverables.

• May handle investigator payments in middleware and financial systems; manage refunds, credit notes, late payment fees, pre-payments, or reimbursements for investigator meetings.

• May create and input budgets and SVTs; contribute to transparency reporting; conduct study reconciliations; and oversee the investigator funds tracker for studies transitioned to site payments.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant formal academic or vocational qualifications; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Prior experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (equivalent to at least 2 years).

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in managing multiple time-sensitive tasks efficiently and effectively.

• Adaptable and capable of adjusting workload priorities to meet evolving project demands.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Word and Excel; experience with CTMS, EDC, or financial systems is preferred.

• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English (both oral and written); additional language skills would be advantageous (if applicable).

• Skilled at extracting relevant information from study documentation such as protocols, contracts, budgets, etc., and performing accurate data entry of these documents.

• Knowledgeable about ICH Good Clinical Practices, country regulations, and/or applicable tax regulations pertinent to all phases of project implementation, execution, and closeout.

• Competent in effectively analyzing project-specific data and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
