This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will oversee our on-site operations for our 110/400 kV substation projects.
• Acting as our on-site representative, you will serve as the primary contact for our client and coordinate your site team alongside our subcontractors for construction and installation tasks.
• Responsible for the planning and coordination of all on-site work while ensuring adherence to relevant occupational health, environmental, and safety regulations, as well as contributing to the development of work and safety guidelines.
• Manage all site activities, including directing subcontractors to guarantee efficient site operations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for our client and lead site meetings.
• Monitor quality, costs, and schedules throughout the construction phase and report accordingly to project management.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to installation activities, providing necessary reports to project management.
• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, accompanied by several years of professional experience; further qualifications as a technician or master craftsman are preferred.
• Experience as a site manager in substation projects or similar fields, such as oil & gas, power plants, or the installation of high-voltage components, is desirable.
• Strong awareness of health and safety (EHS) practices in accordance with international standards; the ability to identify and halt unsafe work practices is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership abilities, along with strong organizational skills and the capacity to deliver clear reports.
• A lean mindset: willingness to pursue further training, adopt new tools, and focus on continuous improvement.
• Readiness to travel for work within Germany and the Netherlands.
• Proficiency in German, both written and spoken; English language skills are an asset.
• Valid driving license, Class B.
