This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee all on-site activities throughout the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases of significant energy infrastructure projects.

• Strategically plan and coordinate site delivery activities in conjunction with Project Managers and Senior Construction Leadership, ensuring that the necessary resources, equipment, and milestones are established.

• Assume full accountability for the designated site from handover to final completion and return to the client.

• Serve as Hitachi Energy's chief site representative, fostering robust relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders.

• Ensure that all construction activities are executed in compliance with contract stipulations, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to promote safe working practices, high-quality workmanship, and successful project outcomes.

• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across all site operations.

• Track project site expenses, resource needs, and productivity, comparing actual expenditures to forecasts and facilitating precise cost reporting.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in a leadership position such as Site Manager, Construction Manager, Installation Manager, or a comparable role within construction, energy, utilities, industrial, or infrastructure projects.

• Solid understanding of construction, installation, testing, and commissioning processes.

• Familiarity with UK health, safety, and environmental regulations as well as industry best practices.

• Demonstrated capability to lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate various project stakeholders.

• Experience in managing project timelines, site resources, quality expectations, and construction risks.

• Possession of SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or an equivalent Health & Safety certification.

• Awareness of CDM regulations and Principal Contractor responsibilities.
