This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
β’ Lead and oversee the SRE and Infrastructure teams, promoting operational excellence and nurturing a culture of reliability and accountability.
β’ Develop and implement the comprehensive infrastructure and reliability strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
β’ Supervise the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, highly available, and secure systems.
β’ Set and track SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure consistent service performance and uptime.
β’ Manage incident response processes, including root cause analysis, postmortems, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
β’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate reliability and scalability into the development lifecycle.
β’ Advocate for automation, observability, and proactive monitoring to reduce downtime and enhance system health.
β’ Oversee infrastructure costs, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
β’ Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a robust leadership pipeline.
β’ Ensure compliance with best practices in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security protocols.
β’ 10β15 years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or SRE, with a minimum of 3β5 years in an Engineering Manager or leadership capacity.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles, including reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
β’ Significant experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure) and contemporary infrastructure architectures.
β’ Profound knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Proven ability to lead and expand distributed engineering teams.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities with an emphasis on system-level analysis and root cause identification.
β’ Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
β’ Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams.
