Site Contracts Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, negotiate, and oversee clinical trial agreements, amendments, and relevant contract documents.

• Formulate, negotiate, and manage site budgets within the approved parameters set by sponsors.

• Act as a liaison among sponsors, investigative sites, legal teams, and internal stakeholders concerning contract and budget activities.

• Ensure that contracts and budgets are executed within the agreed timelines for studies and project milestones.

• Maintain systems for contract management, including trackers, templates, and documentation.

• Review contractual documents for precision, completeness, regulatory compliance, sponsor needs, and adherence to company policies.

• Monitor the status of contracts and address any negotiation obstacles.

• Assist with site payment processes and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

• Aid in country and site initiation activities, document collection, and study maintenance.

• Organize and maintain contract-related documentation throughout the study lifecycle.

• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on contract and budget progress.

• Support quality initiatives, audits, inspections, and efforts for process improvement.

• Contribute to the development of systems, tools, and best practices for effective contract and budget management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific, healthcare, legal, business, or related field.

• Prior experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical company, or clinical research setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in site contract negotiation and budget management for clinical trials.

• Strong grasp of clinical research processes, study initiation activities, and site activation requirements.

• Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant regulatory standards.

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to review and interpret contractual, legal, financial, and operational documents.

• High attention to detail with outstanding organizational and project coordination skills.

• Experience working across various countries and cultures is highly preferred.

• Proficient with contract management systems, CTMS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Proven ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
