This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Prepare, negotiate, and oversee site agreements, confidentiality agreements, and letters of indemnification for clinical trials.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, regulatory standards, and contractual commitments.
• Monitor, update, and manage contract statuses in relevant systems to guarantee transparency and prompt execution.
• Identify and escalate any contractual concerns to management as necessary.
• Assist with the internal review, modification, and approval process of contracts prior to sending them to external parties.
• Collaborate with clinical study teams, legal departments, and project management to facilitate smooth contract execution.
• Maintain both electronic and paper contract files, ensuring their accuracy and accessibility.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of departmental processes and procedures.
• Provide regular updates on status to management and study teams.
• Bachelor’s degree (LLB, JD, BA, or BS) is preferred; a university-level law degree is highly desirable (UK/EU).
• Fortrea may take into account equivalent relevant experience as a substitute for educational qualifications.
• 2–4 years of experience in contract negotiation, clinical research, or a related discipline.
• Strong comprehension of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research methodologies.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
