Signing Agent, Newfoundland & Labrador

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Initiate contact with the borrower by phone within the timelines specified by the lender to schedule a signing appointment and set clear expectations ahead of the meeting.

• Serve as a witness and validate the authenticity of signatures on all mortgage and legal documents, ensuring compliance with lender requirements regarding the execution of the document package, including ID verification.

• Meet with borrowers at their convenience and return signed documents to FCT following established procedures.

• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience by addressing customer inquiries promptly and effectively.

• Must be a Commissioner of Oaths.

• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Must be a quick learner with a proactive approach.

• Possess excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in computer skills, including Internet, email, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Adobe).

• Experience in the lending or legal sector is preferred.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Must have reliable access to the internet, email, printer, and cell phone.

• Access to a dependable vehicle is required.

• Must be flexible and available to work on an on-call basis, including days, evenings, and weekends.

• Attendance at client residences to witness and commission documents is required.
