SIEM Engineer

📋 Description

• Evaluate information security risks in accordance with internal policies and external best practices, determining the necessary measures to safeguard Mondelēz International's information and IT assets.

• Create security standards and policies; provide guidance to technical teams in developing relevant procedures or addressing operational security inquiries; review and advise them on compliant and efficient use of common tools.

• Keep business stakeholders informed about the overarching security and compliance roadmap, deliver training on information security to relevant teams, and formulate security strategies, architectures, and roadmaps encompassing processes and technologies.

• Manage the ingestion of data log sources into a Security Information and Event Management system, overseeing all aspects of tailoring and managing the pipeline with a vendor-supported tool.

• Collaborate with adjacent teams for future deployments and/or troubleshooting efforts.

• This is a high-visibility role reporting to a Senior Manager, occasionally interfacing with higher levels of company management on critical initiatives.

• Capability to develop security strategies, awareness campaigns, policies/standards, and governance frameworks.

• Strong leadership and people management skills with a commercial mindset.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services or AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification (preferred, must be obtained within 12 months of starting).

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (preferred).

• Solid grasp of network engineering principles.

• Strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

• Extensive experience with technologies such as Logscale, NGSIEM, NiFi, Cribl, Databahn, Splunk, ELK, Sumo Logic, or similar platforms.

• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience.

• 8-10 years of overall professional experience.
