Shopify Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of Shopify storefronts.

• Contribute to Shopify Hydrogen projects.

• Facilitate API integrations between Shopify and internal systems.

• Diagnose and resolve Shopify-related issues.

• Create and maintain Python scripts and automation tools.

• Support backend systems based on Django.

• Aid in the development of internal platforms.

• Work with PostgreSQL databases and ensure data synchronization.

• Assist in product creation and manage catalog workflows.

• Collaborate on vendor product data imports.

• Help ensure the accuracy of product data across various systems.

• Work directly alongside the lead developer.

• Assist in addressing technical challenges across multiple systems.

• Learn about and support internal infrastructure and workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in Shopify development.

• Strong proficiency in Python development.

• Experience with APIs and system integrations.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Ability to troubleshoot and independently resolve technical issues.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1).

• Availability for full-time hours aligned with East Coast timings (9–5 EST).

• Experience with Django is preferred.

• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen is preferred.

• Familiarity with Headless Commerce architecture is preferred.

• Experience in managing or importing large product catalogs is preferred.

• Experience in building automation tools and synchronization workflows is preferred.

• Knowledge of vendor product data imports and data normalization is preferred.
