Shopify Developer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of Shopify storefronts

• Contribute to Shopify Hydrogen projects

• Facilitate API integrations between Shopify and our internal systems

• Resolve issues related to Shopify

• Create and sustain Python scripts and automation tools

• Support backend systems built on Django

• Aid in the development of internal platforms

• Work with PostgreSQL databases and ensure data synchronization

• Assist in product creation and manage catalog workflows

• Handle vendor product data imports

• Help ensure accurate product data across various systems

• Collaborate directly with the lead developer

• Aid in addressing technical challenges across multiple platforms

• Acquire knowledge and support our internal infrastructure and workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in Shopify development

• Proficient in Python development

• Experience with APIs and system integrations

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or relational databases

• Capability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1)

• Availability for full-time work in alignment with East Coast hours (9–5 EST)

• Experience with Django (preferred)

• Experience with Shopify Hydrogen (preferred)

• Understanding of Headless Commerce architecture (preferred)

• Experience in managing or importing extensive product catalogs (preferred)

• Experience in developing automation tools and synchronization workflows (preferred)

• Knowledge of vendor product data imports and data normalization (preferred)
