Shopify Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

⛳️ Requirements

• Shopify Expertise: At least 2 years of proven experience in developing functional, efficient, and responsive Shopify and Shopify Plus websites.

• Platform Knowledge: A deep understanding of the features, limitations, pricing, as well as RESTful & GraphQL APIs.

• Liquid Experience: Proficiency in Shopify's templating language.

• Fundamental Frontend Development Experience: Proven skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and at least one additional frontend framework (preferably React).

• Custom App Development: Experience in creating, managing, and customizing bespoke Shopify apps.

• Interpersonal Skills & Communication: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with team members and clients, coupled with robust verbal and written communication skills, even with non-technical stakeholders.

• Understanding of E-Commerce: General knowledge of e-commerce best practices, sales funnels, and conversion optimization.

• Technical SEO Knowledge: Fundamentals of technical search engine optimization for websites and online shops.

• Proficiency in German and English at a B2 level or higher.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with tools like Gadget.dev, and experience with NodeJS and optionally in implementing Lambda-based middleware workflows.
