
Sheet Metal Fabricator – Architectural

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair products made from sheet metal trim.
• Install cladding and paneling.
• Utilize sealants to guarantee weatherproof applications.
• Develop plans and sequences for operations.
• Install both insulated and non-insulated wall panels along with trim packages.
• Identify and mark bending and cutting lines on materials.
• Set up and operate fabricating machinery, such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses.
• Demonstrate the ability to work with power tools while adhering to site safety guidelines.
• Design and create templates.
• Verify that projects conform to specifications.
• Manage material inventory effectively.
• Assemble and fit components using both power and hand tools.
• Regularly work on scaffolding and utilize aerial lifts.
• Promptly report all incidents or accidents, regardless of size, to the Supervisor.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or ten (10) years of relevant experience will be accepted.
• A minimum of two (2) years of directly related fabrication experience is required.
• Alaska Painters Certification is preferred.
• Possession of a Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years is preferred to qualify under the company's vehicle insurance policy.
• Steel-toed boots are mandatory while on the job.
