Sharepoint Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• The SharePoint Platform Engineer plays a key role in the governance, enhancement, and ongoing improvement of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services.

• This position emphasizes the development of scalable business applications, automation of workflows, custom integrations, and user-focused collaboration solutions to boost productivity, content management, and the overall employee experience.

• Collaborating closely with platform administrators and the digital workplace experience team, this role is responsible for transforming business needs into efficient low-code, no-code, and custom-developed solutions utilizing SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Microsoft Graph, SPFx, PowerShell, and various Microsoft 365 technologies.

• The role encompasses solution development, workflow automation, platform customization, integration development, and ongoing improvements, all while ensuring that solutions are secure, maintainable, scalable, and in compliance with enterprise governance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Extensive expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.

• In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online administration and governance.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, SPFx, and automation using PowerShell.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, particularly in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

• Advanced understanding of SharePoint Online governance, site administration, permissions architecture, and content management.

• Proven experience with Power Platform, workflow automation, and optimizing business processes.

• Experience with PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, Microsoft Graph PowerShell, and scripting for automation.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph APIs, application registrations, service principals, and security for integrations.

• Understanding of SharePoint's information architecture, metadata management, Term Store, content types, and document governance.

• Experience in implementing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices and managing environment strategies.

• Proficient in JSON formatting, SPFx, SharePoint customization, site templates, and modern SharePoint features.

• Awareness of compliance, retention, auditing, and information governance practices within Microsoft 365.
