This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process and authorize daily equipment lease and loan fundings, ensuring compliance with approval thresholds and updating funding trackers accordingly.
• Analyze lockbox and ACH cash receipts, determine the appropriate fund application, and prepare necessary files for the third-party servicer.
• Enter and monitor daily cash transactions for company bank accounts within the general ledger system.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments, contract rates, and accounts, escalating any booking errors or unusual issues as necessary.
• Handle returned payments, refunds, and payoffs efficiently.
• Maintain and oversee the advanced payment ledger and suspense accounts.
• Assist with syndication activities, including managing fund transfers, tracking payoffs and clawbacks, and remitting late fees.
• Process vendor and dealer commissions, billing, and revenue-sharing payments on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Generate recurring servicing reports and address audit confirmation requests promptly.
• Uphold manual asset-level vendor billing outside the standard billing procedures.
• Revise contract, funding, and lockbox tracking spreadsheets as well as servicing systems regularly.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and automation for cash application, variance research, and reporting, ensuring the accuracy of outputs.
• Collaborate with third-party loan servicers, accounting and treasury partners, vendors, dealers, and syndication partners.
• Report directly to the Servicing Manager.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, 5–10 years of relevant experience in financial services operations.
• Proficient understanding of equipment lease and loan servicing operations, including cash application, funding, and operational tracking.
• Experience in the commercial finance or leasing industry is essential.
• Skilled in using general ledger and financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced spreadsheet capabilities for tracking, processing, and reporting on servicing activities.
• Familiarity with loan and lease servicing platforms, lockbox processing, and handling ACH/EFT payments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to research and resolve payment, contract, and account discrepancies.
• Capability to manage recurring deadlines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with precision.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and general ledger concepts related to servicing transactions.
• Ability to safeguard the confidentiality of financial, customer, and contract information.
• Comfort with utilizing AI-driven tools and automation for data analysis, reporting, and variance research.
• Successful completion of credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana screening.
• Must meet U.S. employment eligibility verification requirements.
