This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within target market segments, including electric utilities, large industrial clients, and the renewable energy sector, to generate new business leads.

• Transform existing leads and cultivate new ones within the GEV Installed Base through commercial initiatives outlined by the Business Development Team.

• Act as a liaison to thoroughly understand the customer's business model and demonstrate how GEV’s products and services provide added value.

• Tailor sales materials related to service offerings for distinct segments and clientele.

• Organize and present sales pitches to prospective customers.

• Oversee relationships with channel partners and Key Account Managers to align sales efforts.

• Log all sales activities in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and maintain up-to-date opportunity information regularly.

• Lead the proposal strategy and process from the request for quotation (RFQ) through to proposal submission and order placement.

• Evaluate proposals and costings prepared by the Tendering Team to ensure the key value proposition is effectively presented and that pricing aligns with customer expectations and market standards.

• Relay product pain points from customers and prospects to the relevant departments.

• Create new contacts and opportunities by hosting virtual customer webinars tailored to each market segment, leveraging social media to enhance GEV Services' digital presence.

• Achieve or surpass commercial order intake goals established for the US Industrial Market.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or experience in industrial/electric transmission, distribution, or generation/renewable markets.

• At least 5 years of experience in direct sales, business development, or a commercial role.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% of the time as necessary.

• Proficiency in English.
