This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Drive sustainable growth by formulating and implementing a strategic sales plan for the designated region, in alignment with Cloudrise’s overarching objectives.
• Identify and focus on key accounts and partners, detailing specific initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
• Establish and sustain a strong sales pipeline; consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Nurture and expand relationships with partners, vendor selling teams, and Exclusive Networks selling teams to ensure long-term account growth and satisfaction.
• Maintain precise and timely sales forecasts; comprehend and manage the complete sales cycle for each opportunity.
• Navigate customer procurement processes, including budgeting, approval workflows, and purchasing requirements.
• Enhance deal profitability by managing costs and assisting finance with timely collections when necessary.
• Work closely with Service Delivery teams to create proposals, statements of work, and other client-facing materials; ensure all documentation is accurate and professionally presented.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Cloudrise’s service offerings to innovatively customize solutions that address client needs.
• Remain updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer developments; share insights across the organization to aid strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed an annual sales quota of $2M+ USD.
• Proven history of generating new business and driving the creation of a qualified sales pipeline.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of outside sales experience in cybersecurity; experience in data protection or cloud security is highly advantageous.
• Proven success in a quota-carrying sales role, with a record of closing complex deals.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with both customers and internal teams.
• Proficient negotiator with a persistent, solutions-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
• Innovative thinker capable of developing creative solutions to meet client needs.
• Highly organized and self-driven, with robust time management and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is preferred.
