This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical architecture lead and subject matter expert for ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, integrations, and modernization efforts.
• Design and tailor ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and platform solutions to meet organizational needs.
• Architect and supervise the configuration of UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, ACLs, system properties, and other platform elements.
• Design and execute APIs, middleware solutions, scripted integrations, and enterprise system integrations.
• Develop scalable custom applications, workflows, and automation while fully utilizing out-of-the-box capabilities.
• Provide technical oversight for Service Catalog, Flow Designer, data loads, email processing, dashboards, reporting, and access governance.
• Lead architecture, design, code, and solution reviews to ensure performance, scalability, security, compatibility, and maintainability.
• Set development standards, architectural principles, governance models, and reusable design patterns.
• Enhance platform performance, streamline solutions, minimize technical debt, and improve platform functionality.
• Maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and configuration documentation.
• Diagnose complex platform issues and assist with ServiceNow cases until resolution.
• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical and functional ServiceNow solutions.
• Convert requirements into business requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, technical designs, and test scenarios.
• Assess technical requirements and propose solution strategies.
• Implement Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies throughout solution design, development, testing, deployment, and enhancement.
• Create technical estimates, solution approaches, and work breakdown structures.
• Lead or assist in testing and validation efforts.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, product owners, business analysts, developers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Architect and deploy ServiceNow SPM solutions across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Portfolio Management, and Application Portfolio Management.
• Design SPM workflows, reporting, analytics, dashboards, and associated data structures.
• Apply CMDB and CSDM principles to SPM solutions and integrations.
• Architect process alignment and integrations between SPM, ITSM, CSM, and other ServiceNow capabilities.
• Support comprehensive product and service delivery management.
• Architect, implement, configure, and enhance ServiceNow HRSD solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for Employee Center, HR Case Management, HR workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot intricate HRSD platform, workflow, integration, and configuration challenges.
• Ensure that HRSD architecture fulfills security, privacy, data access, user experience, scalability, and maintainability standards.
• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow delivery team members.
• Collaborate across teams, customers, and simultaneous project workstreams.
• Lead or engage in customer workshops, architecture discussions, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Convey complex technical concepts and architectural recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Remain updated on ServiceNow releases, platform capabilities, architecture best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Current ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform in complex enterprise environments.
• More than 7 years of overall application development and SDLC experience, including Agile/Scrum settings.
• Proven experience in architecting and delivering intricate, enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
• Strong practical experience with JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer, Service Catalog, APIs, integrations, and platform configuration.
• Demonstrated experience in designing custom ServiceNow applications, integrations, workflows, and automation.
• Significant experience with ServiceNow SPM, including Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Portfolio Management, and Application Portfolio Management.
• Experience in architecting or implementing ServiceNow HRSD, including Employee Center and HR Case Management.
• Understanding of CMDB and CSDM principles and their relevance to ServiceNow applications and services.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, MID Servers, middleware, and scripted integrations.
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, data models, security, access governance, integrations, and application design.
• Strong awareness of infrastructure, networking, security, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical architecture and solution documentation.
• Capability to evaluate technical trade-offs and communicate recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership across multiple teams and manage concurrent priorities in a consulting environment.
• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• Preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Preferred: One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications, particularly in relevant SPM or HRSD products.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification.
• Preferred: Experience implementing ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, AI Agents/agentic solutions, and AI- or ML-enabled workflows.
• Preferred: Experience leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations, transformations, or modernization efforts.
• Preferred: Experience supporting complex enterprise or public-sector ServiceNow environments.
• Preferred: Experience working in a consulting or other customer-facing delivery setting.
