This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Software Engineers.
• Develop professional services for customers on large-scale, complex projects.
• Implement and create customizations in ServiceNow based on functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with end-users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to gather system requirements for Service Catalog and integrations.
• Assist customers in comprehending technical solutions for their business needs.
• Customize ServiceNow applications and support the deployment of new applications and modules.
• Configure Application UI, Workflow, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and technician locations.
• Implement Flow Designer, Business Rules, scripting, integrations, and logic.
• Set up ServiceNow integrations with other applications through REST/SOAP web services.
• Guide project team members through peer reviews and offer technical mentorship.
• Reflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate them with technical SMEs and stakeholders.
• Participate in user acceptance testing for maps, impact rules, and event management tasks.
• Promote update sets and data across relevant ServiceNow environments.
• Address production incidents related to the defined scope.
• Collaborate with the existing ServiceNow technical lead to ensure consistency in map/event work.
• Maintain operational documentation and SOPs to minimize support risk and inefficiencies.
• Over 8 years of experience in supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow in ITSM, Service Catalogs, and Integrations.
• Proficient in integrating ServiceNow with other systems/platforms using both mid servers and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and bi-directional, automated integrations between systems.
• Familiarity with Data Extraction Technologies (e.g., JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations.
• Knowledgeable in ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
• Background in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of personnel and resources.
• Capability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
• Ability to adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
• A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• Willingness and capacity to pursue further education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond.
• Ability to obtain ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations.
• Preferred certifications include ITIL Foundation; ServiceNow CSA and CAD.
• Official ServiceNow training.
