ServiceNow Software Asset Management Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Create scalable SAM solutions utilizing the inherent capabilities of ServiceNow.

• Convert business and product needs into technical designs that adhere to platform best practices.

• Ensure that solutions and applications are consistent with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), CMDB architecture, and ITAM/SAM data models.

• Collaborate with architects to establish integration patterns and system architecture.

• Configure and develop within ServiceNow SAM, including support for software models and normalization.

• Utilize platform-native tools such as Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, and IntegrationHub for development.

• Implement and enhance advanced SAM Pro features, including Publisher Packs, Reclamation workflows, and SaaS usage integrations.

• Assist in automating license reconciliation and compliance monitoring.

• Oversee and enhance platform performance concerning SAM processes and data volumes.

• Operate within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver incremental value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

• Practical experience in implementing ServiceNow SAM.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, APIs).

• Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub).

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM modules.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
