ServiceNow Lead Engineer – Platform, Custom Apps, Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of ServiceNow Lead Engineer - Platform/Custom Apps/Integration, you will focus on developing applications for Work Order management, scheduling, and dispatch for our clients.

• Work closely with stakeholders to determine essential functionalities within the custom ServiceNow instance.

• Improve ServiceNow (SN) event rules as needed to ensure proper binding with the CMDB.

• Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to obtain necessary environment details to support your service map and event initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer - specializing in Platform/Custom Apps/Integrations within ServiceNow.

• Understanding of, and capability to communicate and implement Platform/Custom Apps/Integrations.

• Skill in developing interfaces tailored to various user audiences based on custom application models or Service Portals.

• Experience in creating integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow's internal services and APIs (using REST).

• Familiarity with service-oriented and distributed application architecture in an enterprise environment (including web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc.).

• Knowledge of Credential less and Credential based Discovery methods.

• Ability to install, configure, and integrate software products from the ServiceNow Platform/Custom Apps/Integrations, especially focusing on discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.

• Capability to prevent the creation of duplicate CIs using CI identifiers.

• Extend Horizontal Discovery with customized Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.

• Proficient in configuring, managing, and maintaining MID servers.

• Skilled in using command line console for Service Mapping tasks.

• Ability to work with and migrate patterns across different environments for Service Mapping.

• Expertise in configuring Identification Rules for Service Mapping.

• Knowledgeable in the Discovery of multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
