Senior Business Analyst – ServiceNow, High Level Clearance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions for gathering and refining requirements with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Convert intricate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and relevant documentation.

• Examine current and future workflows to enhance service delivery, automation, and the overall user experience.

• Ensure the quality and traceability of requirements from the initial discovery phase through design, development, testing, and release.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, developers, and testers to confirm the completeness of requirements, assess technical feasibility, and ensure alignment with the desired business outcomes.

• Identify dependencies, gaps, assumptions, and delivery risks in requirements, facilitating prompt resolution with business and technical stakeholders.

• Work alongside product and delivery leads to prioritize the backlog and ensure requirements are ready for sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and release.

• Define and document the requirements for reporting, operational support, and process governance.

• Drive stakeholder alignment and address any scope or process-related inquiries as they arise.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and uphold strong requirements hygiene within Agile tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, public administration, or a similar field.

• Over 6 years of experience in business analysis for software, workflow, or enterprise system modernization projects.

• Proven experience in leading requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and refinement within Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Expertise in developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and traceable functional and non-functional requirements.

• More than 3 years of experience supporting ServiceNow or a similar enterprise workflow platform, including workflow configuration, service management processes, or platform-based modernization.

• Familiarity with Agile collaboration tools like ServiceNow Agile Development, Jira, Confluence, or similar applications.

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance, as mandated by the federal contract.
