Senior ServiceNow App Engine Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to comprehend and document business objectives and functional requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deploy ServiceNow solutions.

• Design and sustain intricate scripts, business rules, and UI policies.

• Aid in the design and execution of data migration from legacy systems to ServiceNow.

• Support architects and senior developers in integrating ServiceNow with various systems and applications.

• Generate comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and data schemas.

• Perform extensive testing of ServiceNow configurations.

• Provide end-user training to facilitate the seamless adoption of implemented solutions.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.

• Follow security best practices to ensure compliance with requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

• Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance is necessary.

• MUST RESIDE IN THE United States.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.

• At least 2 years of experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in scoped application/custom application development using App Engine.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.

• At least 2 years of experience in building integrations utilizing REST APIs.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customizing Portals.

• At least 1 year of experience in scripting beyond basic ServiceNow scripts.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

• An active DHS Public Trust clearance is preferred.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with App Engine.

• Certification in one or more additional mainline certifications is required, with preference given to ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

• Comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles.

• Proficient scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript.

• Strong technical abilities, including workflow configuration and business rule development.

• Experience in customizing UI and developing complex workflows.
