This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive and oversee discovery and design workshops, capturing and documenting requirements while guiding the client throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate discussions regarding design options, trade-offs, and potential risks.
• Recognize implementation and process design factors to create the ideal employee experience for the Customer while reducing technical debt.
• Advise clients on content strategy to enhance AI search results, LLM utilization of knowledge base articles, and catalog item submissions via AI chat interfaces.
• Lead project initiation tasks related to ServiceNow Portals; develop and/or finalize pre-work questionnaires, workshop agendas, and educational materials for clients.
• Convert requirements into user stories with precise acceptance criteria, testing and validating feature development to assist the configuration team.
• Present ‘Art of the Possible’ demonstrations of the Employee Center Portal to support project initiation and/or pre-sales activities.
• Interpret and implement client branding guidelines as necessary to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Create scalable solutions, artifacts, assets, and demo instances utilizing human-centered design principles.
• Mentor team members in design thinking, UX fundamentals, and design concept principles.
• Assist the Design Team Director with internal initiatives aimed at enhancing skills, tools, and processes.
• Over 5 years of experience in designing or configuring portals within ServiceNow (Employee Center, Employee Center Pro, Service Portal, etc.).
• More than 2 years of experience managing knowledge bases, content strategy, or process documentation.
• Willingness and capability to undergo background checks and drug testing for Federal, State, and Local agency projects.
• Skill in translating client requirements into well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong skills in meeting facilitation and comfort in leading design discussions with executive stakeholders.
• Problem-solving capabilities to address user interface challenges.
• Highly organized with remarkable attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic design process with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with design/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience in conducting or assessing user research or usability testing.
