This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the ServiceNow O&M TC/SA support, enhancing a well-established ServiceNow FedRAMP certified hosted solution for a United States Federal agency.
• Assist in agile/scrum Epic development tasks by implementing best practices, including close collaboration with client and consultant Project Managers (PMs), Lead Technical Consultants (TC), Business Process Consultants (BPCs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee, lead, and/or contribute to various planning processes such as release planning, sprint planning, solution roadmaps, backlogs, release plans, requirements validation, user story grooming, user stories documentation, bug fix analysis and resolution, enhancements, estimations, development, documentation, Knowledge Base Article (KBA) development support, application configuration, design and prototype development, demo creation, unit testing, System Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Performance Testing (PT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, deployment management, and supporting post-production activities including hypercare.
• Design, configure, and customize web applications.
• Provide support for any new solutions implemented in the Production environment and coordinate regular refreshes of sub-production environments from Production.
• Manage customer expectations, ensuring tasks are estimated and completed on time and within budget while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related IT discipline.
• Proven experience with Workspace Service Delivery (WSD).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) credential.
• 3-5 years of ServiceNow technical development experience on projects with similar size, scope, and complexity.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting a large IT organization, specifically working with SaaS-based applications.
• Demonstrated experience with at least three (3) of the application suites mentioned above.
• Over 3 years of experience in JavaScript programming.
• Familiarity with and/or certification in ITIL practices and O&M support processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with others.
• Experience in implementing and supporting systems utilizing hybrid Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or ITIL methodology.
• Strong business acumen coupled with demonstrated technical competency.
• Consulting experience with a proven ability to manage customer expectations.
• Successful track record of contributing to multidimensional, team-oriented projects.
• Exceptional communication (both written and oral), presentation skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional environment, whether military or civilian.
• Must be a United States Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust background check.
