This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform functionalities.
• Create custom scoped applications in accordance with ServiceNow best practices.
• Set up and support ITSM modules, which include Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Create and manage Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and workflow automations using Flow Designer.
• Develop and facilitate REST API integrations with third-party enterprise applications.
• Configure Integration Hub spokes and establish automated integrations.
• Develop Scripted REST APIs and oversee data integrations using Import Sets and Transform Maps.
• Configure and maintain the CMDB, Reports, Dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
• Provide support for ServiceNow platform administration, which includes upgrades, patching, testing, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance platform reliability.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver comprehensive enterprise solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational procedures.
• Engage in code reviews and adhere to ServiceNow development best practices.
• Offer production support and promptly resolve application issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator.
• Extensive experience in supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
• In-depth knowledge of Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
• Strong experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
• Background in developing custom ServiceNow scoped applications.
• Experience in building and maintaining REST API integrations.
• Familiarity with Scripted REST APIs, Import Sets, and Transform Maps.
• Experience with CMDB, Reports, Dashboards, and Performance Analytics.
• Strong skills in JavaScript development.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Experience managing production ServiceNow environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow domain separation (Preferred).
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with Okta SSO and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) (Preferred).
• Background in cybersecurity or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) environments (Preferred).
• Government or public sector experience (Preferred).
• Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, S3) (Preferred).
• Experience with React, Node.js, Express.js, and full-stack web development (Preferred).
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies (Preferred).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications, such as CAD or CIS, are advantageous.
