ServiceNow Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical development and configuration of the ServiceNow MVP for the Single-Pathway Issue-Resolution platform.

• Create, develop, and sustain ServiceNow applications and workflows.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Utilize Jira for managing user stories, tracking tasks, and updating development progress.

• Assist in the development of test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Adhere to VA OIT development standards and security protocols throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Actively identify platform issues and propose effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of practical experience in ServiceNow development OR current certifications in CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer).

• Strong expertise in both Service Portal (front-end) and core platform (back-end) ServiceNow development.

• Experience in regulated IT settings, preferably within federal healthcare or the VA OIT system.

• Knowledge of Jira, Agile Scrum practices, and version control/documentation processes.

• Exceptional communication and documentation abilities.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance.
