ServiceNow Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a Business Analyst supporting the Platforms - ServiceNow team.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional partners to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for initiatives related to ServiceNow.

• Convert business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.

• Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions across the platform.

• Lead workshops, interviews, and working sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

• Evaluate current-state and future-state processes to propose efficient and scalable solutions.

• Work in close collaboration with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure that requirements are comprehended and delivered effectively.

• Support testing activities, which include test planning, execution support, and validation of delivered functionality.

• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure that project deliverables align with business objectives and technical standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least THREE (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to ServiceNow.

• Demonstrated experience with hands-on coding and scripting.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally supporting enterprise technology or ServiceNow implementations.

• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, and process documentation.

• Experience in creating user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced setting.
