
ServiceNow Architect – IT Operations Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the technical authority for ServiceNow ITOM functionalities, which encompass Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Certificate Management, and CMDB integration.
• Set up, optimize, and resolve issues with ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Server setup, credential management, patterns, probes and sensors, and troubleshooting discovery errors.
• Ensure CMDB integrity by establishing identification and reconciliation rules, normalizing data, mapping relationships, and adhering to CMDB governance and ITIL best practices.
• Identify and oversee cloud resources across AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud-native services, dynamic infrastructures, and the integration of these cloud assets into the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Create and execute automation strategies using ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, APIs, and integrations with monitoring and infrastructure tools.
• Formulate strategic and tactical project plans, conduct feasibility studies, and offer recommendations for management and business units.
• Conduct performance analysis of systems and root cause investigations for production incidents, including participation in 24/7 support coverage as necessary.
• Serve as a liaison with vendors, assessing and selecting suitable products to fulfill business and strategic objectives.
• Provide guidance on capacity planning, performance optimization, and the consolidation of existing hardware and software applications.
• Inform team members about technology trends and explore emerging technologies that align with the organization’s strategy.
• Convert complex technical solutions into non-technical documentation for business stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines within a client/server or service-oriented architecture setting.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing ServiceNow ITOM functionalities, including Discovery and CMDB integration.
• Strong grasp of enterprise infrastructure components, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, containers, and applications.
• Solid understanding of network architecture, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and application development methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to handle competing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
