This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Accountable for ensuring the accuracy of CMDB data and the integrity of CI relationships.
• Overseeing multi-tenant environments, including domain-specific configurations, visibility rules, update set management, and resolving domain conflicts.
• Conducting daily administrative tasks, which include managing the technical setup of the platform, designing forms, and generating reports and dashboards.
• Administering user accounts, roles, and access control lists (ACLs) to guarantee appropriate access levels and safeguard platform security.
• Monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, identifying and rectifying errors, and managing the planning and implementation of platform upgrades and patches.
• Acting as a primary support resource for end-users and support teams by investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues (incidents) related to the platform.
• Collecting requirements from stakeholders and executing minor enhancements, such as creating or modifying service catalog items and automated process flows/workflows (often utilizing Flow Designer or JavaScript).
• Developing and sustaining technical and user documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures, while assisting in training end-users and other staff members.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, project managers, business users) to ensure the platform aligns with organizational objectives and contributes to continuous service improvement initiatives within ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management, etc.).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform administration, configuration, and ITSM operations.
• A robust technical background in automation, workflow design, and enterprise system support.
• High proficiency in configuring ServiceNow modules (ITSM required; ITOM, HRSD, SecOps are advantageous).
• Proven experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Domain Separation.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing scripts, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
• A solid grasp of IT operations concepts, relational databases, and integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are vital for interacting with both technical teams and non-technical users.
• A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification is also a plus.
