Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with restaurant and hospitality managers to provide extensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and various specialty food service equipment.

• Showcase your mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency in reading diagrams and schematics.

• Effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Kitchen Equipment.

• Liaise with manufacturers as necessary to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.

• Consult with the Technical Assistance Group for technical support while on-site.

• Install all ordered parts for customers promptly and professionally.

• Promote and recommend additional services offered by Smart Care to customers as needed.

• Generate accurate and timely administrative documents, including work orders, time reports, receipts, and truck stock inventory.

• Adhere to safe work practices and accident prevention protocols.

• Keep a tidy and organized service vehicle, along with precise parts and tool inventory.

• Maintain productivity levels in line with company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• One year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.

• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.

• Willingness and capacity to participate in the emergency on-call rotation, which includes nights and weekends.

• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
