Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide support to drivers requiring emergency roadside assistance.

• Help drivers find appropriate repair facilities.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.

• Confirm that all repair and maintenance work is both necessary and priced fairly.

• Review and approve repairs for fleet vehicles as needed.

• Record all instances where cost savings are achieved.

• Ensure adherence to the established preventative maintenance schedule.

• Maintain all monthly performance metrics at or above the set targets.

• Offer assistance readily and contribute positively to team morale.

• Demonstrate sensitivity and consideration towards the feelings of others.

• Exhibit punctuality, consistency, and regular attendance.

• Respond positively to change, propose improvement suggestions, remain calm and professional under pressure, and accept constructive feedback graciously.

• Be reliable in executing assignments with care and appropriate follow-up.

• Overcome challenges to achieve goals.

• Take personal responsibility for actions.

• Keep managers and/or coworkers updated on work progress and other critical information.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Vocational or Technical education is recommended.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Typing speed of 20-25 WPM.

• 10 to 15 years of experience in automotive or truck repair.

• ASE Certification in 3-7 car or 3-6 truck repair categories.
